The Sognefjord, Norway's longest and deepest fjord, stretches over 200km inwards to the foot of the Jotunheimen Mountains. The express boat takes you on an eventful journey along the coast of Western Norway, from Bergen to the Sognefjord. At this point you change boats and join a guided tour into the narrow Dalsfjord all the way to Bygstad.
After a stop here, the journey continues by bus from Bygstad to Balestrand via the National Tourist Route over the Gaularfjell Mountain. Along the protected Gaularvassdraget watercourse you can see effervescent rapids and wild waterfalls. The journey is exciting and varied with beautiful nature, fantastic views and roads that curl between steep mountains and narrow valleys.
