On this roundtrip you get it all: Sognefjord, The Flåm Line, National Touristroad Gaularfjell and the Dalsfjord. From Bergen the trip starts by express boat along the west coast to the Sognefjord and further a fjordcruise up the Dalsfjord continues by the bus on the National Scenic Route across the Gaularfjell mountains with fantastic views of waterfalls and wild rapids. Before arriving Balestrand you will have breathtaking views down the hairpin bends to Balestrand. Overnight stay in the Balerstrand and further to Flåm where the famous Flåm Line brings you up to the Bergen/Oslo railway.

An express boat takes you along the west coast from Bergen to the Sognefjord, where you are transferred to a boat that sails up the narrow Dalsfjord. This fjord has a history dating back to the Viking Age.
The tour continues by bus from Bygstad to Balerstrand via the city Førde and the National Scenic Route across the Gaularfjell mountains, which are also known as ‘Waterfall Country’ (Fosseheimen). This is an exciting drive with fantastic views of waterfalls and wild rapids. The bus stops at some of the most beautiful places along the route so that you can spend some time admiring the view.
The tour continues down breathtaking hairpin bends to the Sværefjord and Balestrand. There, after a good night’s sleep, you continue on the Sognefjord in a Nutshell tour to Flåm, where the famous Flåm Line takes you up the mountain to the Bergen/Oslo railway.
